I am someone who is motivated to succeed and learn more, which is why I make such a successful tutor. In my opinion, one of the best parts of being a teacher is getting the opportunity to experience the excitement your student feels when they finally overcome one of their academic hurdles. At the moment, I am studying at the University of Utah, where I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science and linguistics. Once I graduate, I plan on entering a PhD program in linguistics, as well as receive a master's degree in computer science. In my free time, I love to live an active lifestyle that allows me to learn new things. Along with practicing Krav Maga and Choy Li Fut, I also do ballet and study foreign languages. Along with English and Spanish, I'm also learning how to master Mandarin Chinese and French. As a tutor, it's my goal to help students improve their proficiency in all of these languages. I believe that the best way to learn a new language is through hands-on activities that give you the opportunity to actually practice the language, rather than just memorize words. When I'm not busy teaching and learning, I like to play video games and practice martial arts.
